3 in 1 Stochastic
Chart cycle plus two slower stochs. Arrows only when both HTFs already agree.

What it is
3 in 1 Stochastic is a new-panel ATAS port of the MetaQuotes 3-in-1 idea: thick chart %K/%D, plus two thinner higher-timeframe stochastics on the same pane. Defaults are TF2 = 240 minutes (H4) and TF3 = 1440 minutes (D1). Those HTF lanes are aggregated from the host chart — there is no separate H4/D1 feed. Put it on a chart faster than the smallest extra TF (5m with H4+D1 is the intended stack). Stochastic Source is Close (original MQ5: min/max of close over the %K period) or High/Low (classic highest-high / lowest-low). Clouds fill between each HTF %K and %D. Up/Down arrows fire only when the chart K crosses D and both HTF lanes already agree (both K>D or both K<D). This is not the Pine Multi Time Frame Stochastic (six %K lanes). Use it to time a pullback after bias is already clear — not to pick direction. Educational oscillator only. Not financial advice.
What to look for
- H4 and D1 still on the same side of their K/D while the chart TF retraces into the cycle zone
- An arrow only after both HTFs already agree — a chart cross without arrows is a lone hook
- Clouds matching the HTF lean (TF2 DarkSeaGreen/BurlyWood, TF3 YellowGreen/Orange), not a cross through an opposing cloud
- Close vs High/Low source: Close is the MQ5 original; High/Low is twitchier on wicks — know which you are reading
- A second hook after a vertical retrace — skip the first frantic cross
- Steps vs Slope on the bigger TFs: Steps holds the last HTF value across chart bars; Slope interpolates
- 80 / 20 as location, not an auto-fade — chart can ride OB/OS while H4/D1 still agree with trend
- Chop: all three K/D weaving through 50 with no HTF agreement — no cycle to time
Settings that matter
- Chart TF ≤ smallest extra TF. Defaults TF2 240m / TF3 1440m — a 4H chart cannot fill a 240m column the way 5m can
- Stochastic Source: Close (MQ5 original) vs High/Low (classic) — applies to chart + both HTF lanes
- %K period 5 · slowing 3 · %D period 3; SMA / EMA / Fast %K and SMA / EMA %D per TF
- Overbought 80 / Oversold 20 — zone marks, not reverse commands
- HTF Drawing Mode: Steps (default) or Slope for TF2/TF3
- Show arrows — they already require HTF agreement; do not treat a missing arrow as a bug
- Alerts optional (ATAS only; no mail/push)
Common mistake
Fading a chart-TF cross while H4 and D1 are still extended with the trend. Arrows are the alignment check; a hook against both HTFs is noise. This is not the Pine 6-TF Stochastic — do not expect 3/5/15/30/60/240 lanes here.
